Katy (Catlin) Rose Caplette died from heart failure in 2022. She was just 40 years old. An enrolled member of the Crow Tribe, Roses Indian names are Sees the Two Rainbows and Speaks with Her Colors. Rose had a diagnosis of Down Syndrome but didnt identify with the diagnosis. It got where, when she spoke about it, her mom Jenna would hear, Dancing Drum, a more apt description for who Rose became.

I just like doing my own characters because its more fun than real life people. I have a hard time with real life people because I dont know how they feel. But if you go to fantasy-land, you can se it all in your head. Its beautiful.
