Fan To See by Mak Magic, Bro. John Hamman, De Voe Magic Den

This effect was invented by Bro. John Hamman, first printed in Linking Ring and marketed by De Voe Magic Den.

Effect: After a few tricks with regular playing cards, the magician reaches into his inside coat pocket and extracts a fan of regular sized playing cards. Saying that perhaps the audience has found it difficult to see the cards from way back in the rear he decides to do something about it. He shows the regular fan front and back then passes his left hand in front of the fan a few times and the small fan instantly seems to expand into a fan about four times the size of the original. Close the fan, and if you wish, you may at this point do a few tricks with jumbo cards. In other words, its a transitional trick.
